Pierre-Auguste RENOIR
One of the most famous painters of all time, Renoir was born of working class parents in France, and began his career in ceramics as a boy. He frequently visited with other artists, including Sisley, Bazeille, Monet, Delacroix and was influenced by their work. His paintings have sold in modern times for 10s of millions of dollars. |
