MARY CASSATT (1844-1926) One of the most universally popular American artists, Cassatt allied herself with the Impressionists and became a leading figure in Parisan avant-garde circles. Her fresh, origianl style won her increasing acclaim in her lifetime. Among the works included here in this collage of 9 of her most famous works are The Bath (1891-92), Mother and Child (1889) and Children Playing on the Beach (1884).
